Show BEAVER MUSICAL ' DIRECTOR RESIGNS A. E. Johnson, for the past several years musical director in the Beaver high school, left Saturday for California Cali-fornia to join his family who are making their home in San Diego. Upon his arrival in San Diego, Prof. Johnson wired his resignation to the school board. Mr. Johnson's resignation is greatly great-ly regretted at this time, as the work on the high school opera was well under way, and the band expected to participate in the state meet this year, plans which have been badly disrupted by Mr. Johnson leaving. Prof. Johnson is a musician of exceptional ex-ceptional ability, and he possessed the happy faculty of having the goodwill good-will and admiration of all his pupils. An effort is being made by the county coun-ty school superintendent and board of education to fill the vacancy for the remaider of the term. Beaver Press. |
