Show SOCIETY BRIDAL SHOWER Mrs. Dick Jones entertained on Wednesday evening at a bridal shower show-er in honor of her daughter, Vina, who was married to Guff Cartwright of Salt Lake City February 6. Many-beautiful Many-beautiful gifts were presented. Mrs. Cartwright expects to join her husband hus-band in Salt Lake City in the near future. ' BIRTHDAY PARTY Twelve little boys and girls surprised sur-prised Jimmie Jones at his home Saturday Sat-urday afternoon, the occasion being his eighth birthday anniversary. Games were played and a jolly time had. MRS. NICHOLS ENTERTAINS On Tuesday evening, March 5, Mrs. Willard Nichols entertained with a delightful surprise party at her home in compliment to her husband's birthday. birth-day. The rooms were gayly decorated decorat-ed in the color suggestive of St. Patrick's Day. The guests played "500' at which score prizes were won by Mrs. Jennie Smith, high; Wayne Richards, consolation. conso-lation. Then a sumptuous two-course two-course luncheon was served followed by dancing. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Shay Zabriskie, Mrs. Jennie Smith, Mrs. Goff and Bert Nichols. FAREWELL PARTY A farewell surprise party was given giv-en for Charles Ruschmeier at his home Wednesday evening. The ev- ening was spent playing games. A delicious luncheon was served to fourteen guests. DINNER GUESTS Miss Alyce Schow and Mrs. Jack Ashworth were the dinner guests of Mrs. A. Ashworth and sons, George and Eric, Sunday, at the Milford hotel. B. OF L. F. & E. BALL As has been the plan in the past, the annual B. of L. F. & E. ball this year will be a St. Patrick's Day affair. af-fair. The date selected for this dance is Friday, March 15. FROLIC WELL ATTENDED The two-time frolic given last Friday Fri-day evening by the Young People's Mutuals was well attended. Dancing consisted of waltzes, two-steps and square dances, with Thompson's Foot Warmers playing. Varying the dances, the Milford orchestra played for modern dancing. Many of the older couples came to attend this affair. TEACHERS ENTERTAINED Principal and Mrs. M. J. Andrews, Miss Jean Woodside and Miss Margaret Mar-garet Leonard entertained on Saturday Satur-day evening, March 2. Invitations were sent to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. H. E.
