Show Utah's First State House Made into a Museum The East Millard Company D. P. is sponsoring the State Day's Celebration, Cele-bration, which will take place in Fillmore Fill-more July 24, 25 and 26th. The Governor Gov-ernor has already accepted the invitation invi-tation to dedicate the Old State House as a Museum on July 24th. Standing in the center of the City Park is Utah's first capitol building, and we'rt told the first capitol building build-ing to be erected west of the Mississippi Missis-sippi River. It is a simple, yet beautiful beau-tiful structure, with its copper roof, its huge red sandstone walls and its steep outside stairway leading to the main auditorium on the third floor. In this building, Utah's fifth session ses-sion of the Legislature convened. This historic building now becomes Utah's first State Pai-k and will soon be filled with important documents and relics of early Utah, reflecting the progress made from time to time in building up the West.
