Show WATER IN NEW POOL SUNDAY It is the hope of the Lions club committee in charge of the construction construc-tion of the new Milford swimming j pool, that they will be able to turn i the water into the pool next Sunday. ! While all the bath-houses will not be completed, it is thought that the work will be far enough along to use the pool. , ! i i "': A visit to the new pool will convince con-vince one that Milford will have one of the most up-to-date and' eon-j eon-j venient swimming pools in the state, ! and one that the entire community ' may well feel proud of. In addition jto the splendid concrete pool, twelve ! bath-houses, two showers and ' two toilets are being built. These buildings makes a wind-break on j the west, and another wind-break i is being erected on the south. In all it will make a most enjoyable place !for a plunge. All these conveniences and the per-jmanency per-jmanency of the construction work has cost considerably more money than was estimated, and while subscriptions sub-scriptions to the fund have come in very liberally, mpre funds are needed need-ed to settle the bills. Further contributions con-tributions are solicited and will be greatly appreciated by the Lions club who are sponsoring this very worths-project. worths-project.
