Show Said Bonds, called "Drainage District Dis-trict Bonds," are to run not less than five (5) years, nor more than forty (40) years, and to bear interest, payable semi-annually, at a rate not exceeding six per cent (6) per annum; an-num; said Bonds shall not be sold for less than ninety per cent (90) of their par value, and the proceeds of which shall be used for no other purpose than paying the cost of constructing con-structing said drains, drainage canals, ca-nals, or other like work deemed necessary nec-essary to drain the lands within said District. Notice is hereby given that sealea proposals for the purchase of said Bonds will be received by the said Board of Supervisors at their office in Delta, Millard County, until two o'clock p. m. on the 12th day of March, 1921, at which time and place the said Board of Supervisors will open the proposals or bids and may award the purchase of Bonds to the highest responsible bidder. D. 1920, the land owners in said District authorized the Board of Supervisors of said District to issue is-sue additional Bonds of said District in the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Fif-ty Thousand Dollars ($150,000), with which to raise funds for the construction and completion of the construction of a drainage system in said Drainage District, - and main taining drains; and a drainage system sys-tem in said District for the purpose of draining and reclaiming the land in said District. It is the intention of the Board of Supervisors of said District to sell and dispose of said Bonds for cash to the highest and best bidder. |
