Show Attention I! Ex-Service Men. On Thursday, March 3rd, there will be a meeting held 8 o'clock p.m. to decide if you want the Delta Post of the American Legion continued or not. MILLER, born at St. George, Utah, June 30, 1871, died at his home near Osceola, Nev., Feb. 24th, last. Simple' ceremonies were conducted by E. W. Clay, who addressed a number num-ber of friends from Spring Valley and Snake Valley. Mrs. Quate, supported by her mother Mrs. Fred Schumacher, Messrs. Albin and Alfred Bellander, Osborn and Gladys Chrlstopherson and Burton Clay, sang a number of selections. After closing the services at the house, those gathered followed the remains to the family cemetery, where the deceased was tenderly laid away beside the mother and brother, who preceded him. Bellander brothers broth-ers sang, "I Need Thee Every Hour," as the body was being interred. In behalf of. the bereaved, thanks are extended to those who by their presence expressed the heartfelt sympathy sym-pathy that is felt by-men and women for fellow man. In the early seventies the family came from St. George and settled on what is now the Hecketorn place at Garrison, Utah. Later, about thirty years ago, tn,ey settled where they now live. The deceased Is survived by four children, Andrew, Will, Agnes and Orval ; his father, H. W. Miller; three brothers, Gregg, Charlie and Herbert, and two sisters, Mrs. Vlra Clawson and Mrs. Lou Kearney, |
