Everyone is looking forward for-ward to this event wiili enthusiasm. A Thanksgiving confeui ball will be given in the gym nasi us of the Hinckley High school, Friday evening even-ing at 8:30. Numbered tickets will be given, and the couple with the lucky number receives a big, fat turkey. tur-key. The typewriting classes are introducing intro-ducing the idea of typewriting to , the rhythm of music. The idea is proving very successful, as well as interesting. 1 The domestic science girls of , the tenth grade are planning on serving ser-ving an elaborate luncheon and en-, en-, tertaining the Eureka and Hinckley 1 football boys after the game next : Friday. j They came! They saw ! We conquered! con-quered! Hinckley can still glory in the fact that she has never been de- , routed in football hy Delta. At the I j close of the game the score was 25-7 in Hinckley's favor. After the game the students snake danced through town and were fol- ' lowed by a string of district school children, who gloried in the victory of their heros. Delta put up a splendid splen-did fight and both schools demon- ' strated a fine spirit of sporbsanship. I After the game, Hinckley gave a 1 1 dance which was very successful. II As it was especially for the foot- I hall boys, our coach gave them the , privilege of dancing with any girl, ; at any time, regardless of partners, jj Everyone was full of pep and mis- I I chief, making a very lively dance. 1 1 "Facing the Music," our school 1 1 play is coming along very nicely. ;The cast is almost complete and re- jhersals have begun. |
