Show Delta P. T. A. Holds Profitable Meeting IXTERKSTIXG ADDRESS MADE BY V. N. GARDNER. A large and interested audience attended the second meeting of the last Thursday. Following an interesting inter-esting opening program, W. N. Gardner Gard-ner gave a very interesting and highly high-ly instructive address on "The Ideal home. "Co-operation, encouragement, encourage-ment, love and mother, help make up the ideal lume," he stated. "Where ever love cUvells in a home, there also lives success. The soul that is gladdest, is the one that builds a home." Mr. Neeley, Mr. Bradley and Mr. Savage spoke of conditions and problems prob-lems concerning their schools. The association decided to join the State and National Parent-Teachers organization. . :j Following the meeting, games and dances were enjoyed in the gymnasium. gym-nasium. Mr. and Mrs. Neeley had charge of the amusements. Mrs. George Boyack was chairman of the refreshment committee. It is hoped that any more parents will attend the next meeting which will be held on the second Thursday in December. The more co-operation between paronts and teachers, the greater will be the success of our schools. |
