Show A WARNING TO SAVE CORN The United States Department of Agriculture sends out the following which we give 1 to our readers for them to do as they see fit: "The spring of 1924 was unusually unusual-ly backward In many sections. Folowing Fol-owing this, growing conditions were that the bulk of the corn Is extremely extreme-ly late throughout the corn belt and northward. It Is so late that most of the crop will be unfit for seed unless the frost holds off longer than usual. "The United States Department of Agriculture la oalltng attention to this fact at the present time, ii order to prevent, tt possible, a ser lous seed-oorn situation In the spring ot 1925, Farmers not having seed corn enough for 192 5 left over should save the best of their crib corn, from which to obtain seed. It this year's crop Is killed by frost before tt la mature, this old corn will provide a source from which . seed can be selected for planting In 1925.
