Show DESERET DOESGS Lola, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Bennett, was taken to Salt Lake this week, where she was operated on for appendicitisi; latest .reports are that she is doing nicely. The Misses Rose Andrus and Jane Farmer, and Mr. Eldon Brown of Draper, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Sorenson during the week. The party was en route to Bryce's Canyon. Mifi?i Lida Rossiter of Salt Lake City has been a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schonberger this week. Mias Rossiter spent a few days on her return trip to the northwest and California to visit friends. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Moody left on Sunday for Salt Lake to attend the State Democratic Convention. Miss Neva Cropper entertained Friday afternoon at her home in compliment to Miss Rossiter of Salt Lake. Those present were the Misses Vonda Black, Norma Moody, Gertrude Western, Nellie Hanson, Belva Western, Manctta Black, Kate Cropper, Bernlce Western, Mrs. Edgar Ed-gar Moody, Mrs. Frank Black, Mrs. Myron Western, Mrs. Lincoln Cropper Crop-per and Mrs. Ellen Cropper. Miss Rossiter was also the guest of honor at a luncheon given by Miss Manetta Black on Saturday. Mrs. A. W. Sorenson entertained twenty children last week at her home in honor of her little son, Wilson, Wil-son, the occasion being his eighth birthday. Delicious refreshments ere served. |
