Show MEADOW MISCELLANY LA. Cull, Cbrenkle KepreitoUth Those attending the M. I. conference at Sdplo last Sunday report having had a good time and were well paid for their trip through the mud, as they had an excellent conference. Last Tuseday evening the ward gave a surprise party at the school bouse In honor of Mr. N. R. Stewart and family, who have moved to Hinckley where they will make their future home. The evening was spent In an Impromptu program and games, then ended with a game of basket ball between be-tween the Junior girls and the married mar-ried men. The score was sixteen to two In favor of the girls. Mrs. I-M win Stott, sr., returned home last Sunday from Garfield, where she has been visiting with her Mister for the past month. Last Friday evening a grand ball was given for the benefit of our Silver band. An enjoyable time was had. In times past a storm would bring a broad smile iion the face of the farmers, but of late that smile would be broadened by having a fine day. We regret to report that John Gull, who ha been on the sick list for the past five months. Is Hill very poorly. Also Robert Kd wards is reported a being on the sick list. Mr. Alonzo Duncan i again home from Clear Lake, where she has been lor somo time working In the store. |
