Death claimed a heavy toll In the Labor day auto races at the slate fair grounds when four of the six high -powered cars entered en-tered In tbe twentyflve-tnll free-for-all race were wrecked on the far side of the mile track Ja alght of the 5,000 spectators. Four of tbe racing men were killed and three received minor Injuries. Two of tbe cars with their drivers and mechanicians me-chanicians flashed through tbe tangled wreckage of broken cars and maimed bodies at a speed of alxty miles an hour, escaping injury. I
