Show NEWS NOTES OF SCIPIO The Selplo Steam Thresher Company Com-pany bought a new engine last week, and finished up the grain which was lett from last fall. We are in hopes they will have bectcr success with this engine than they have had with the old one. Mr. and Mrs. A. Peterson have gone to Fillmore for a few days. They ex poet to bring their son Noble back with them. Miss Kills Thompson, who went to teach school at Munassa, Colo., last fall, has returned home and Is known as Mrs. Chapman now. She and her husband are visiting relatives here. llrother Daniel Thompson is still very ill. The little son of Leonard' Robins, Jr., met with a very painful accident last week. While riding on a sulky plow his foot caught on a stake which was driven In the ground and wrench ed his leg very badly. Mrs. Hddlo Stevens and children from llolden, spent a few days with relatives here last week. Frank Fisher and Win. Strange have returned home from Delta. Claude and Htanley Robins are home again. They havee been at icndlng the Snow Academy at Hph-ra Hph-ra i nt the past winter. Dr. (iough, a vcternlary surgeon, tins been with us the past week, lie lias been kepi busy most of his time. Marion Moody came over from Hinckley Saturday and returned Sun-lay Sun-lay morning, taking Miss Lillian rhompson with htm. Last Saturday the Levan baseball earn came over and played our boys j i game. The score was 4tJ to 7 In , avor or Selplo. Our best, pitcher.
