Show Sutherland Searchlights Mrs. Bert Johnson has gone to Aurora to visit with her parents. Plenty of water now. Farmers Farm-ers are busy irrigating fall crops. Ed Bunker and family have moved back on the ranch from Delta. W. R. Walker is erecting a sixteen foot adition on the rear of his store. Mrs. Erank Hiese is recovering recover-ing nicely, in Salt Lake, from an operation for appendicitis. Mrs. N. E. Corry, of Cedar City, was visiting with' friends in Sutherland Monday and Tuesday. Tues-day. Ward Hayes leaves this week for Cali., where he has purchased purch-ased property. Mrs. Hayes will go to Chicago to visit with her mother. The beet crop fell away below the expected tonnage. Just why we cannot say but as it is true of most counties of Utah we do not think it any fault of our land but rather the season and blight. Jode Dervard has moved into Mrs. Delia Lisonbee's house and is working on the Locke and Coleman farm which has lately been bought by Mr. Merrick, of Ogden. |
