Show Second Ward Contemplates Church Addition Bishopric Launches Drive for Funds to Build Addition to Chapel The Delta Second Ward is launching laun-ching a drive to raise funds for an addition to their building when materials are available. The addition addi-tion will include a recreation room, with a stage, six class rooms, Relief Re-lief Society room, with a kitchen, and a Priesthood assembly room. The plans have not been completed com-pleted yet as to where they will place the new wing, but it will have to be to the north or west of the present building. The tentative ten-tative proposal at present is to follow fol-low the plan of the church building build-ing in Nephi, which appeals to those in charge of the new construction. con-struction. The present heating system in the church building is adequate to handle the new addition, which will reduce the costs of the construction. con-struction. The Bishopric is conducting the drive with the aid of ten men. The men collecting the funds are: Lon Sampson, William S. Bassett, June Black, Orran Ashby, John Steele, M. Ward Moody, Clarence Prest-wich, Prest-wich, Leo Lyman, Marion Henrie and Lynn Johnson. Wilford Hilton is custodian of the funds. |
