Show NEWS OF OUR ; MENwWCMEN IM UNIFORM (Continued from Page 1) Jay Bishop son of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Bishop passed his physical at Fort Douglas Friday and will be called into the Navy in about two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Humphries have received word from Ray Stevens Ste-vens that he is in the Hawaiian islands. Blaine Theobald son of Mr. and Mrs. Fay Theobald went to Salt Lake last week. Blaine is in the Navy. Lt. Gordon Christensen flew from California Sunday and visited for a few hours with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Christensen. Mrs. Leland Bennett has received recei-ved word that her husband, Leland Bennett has been promoted to First Class Ph. M. Leland is the son of Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Bennett, Deseret and is on a ship somewhere some-where in the Atlantic. Pvt. Grant J. Pratt son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. B. Pratt came home on a nine day furlough last Thursday. Thurs-day. Grant has been in Georgia for the past six months. He will go to Maryland from here. Venor Moody son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Moody reported at Fort Douglas Friday for his physical. physi-cal. He was placed in the Navy and is waiting to be called. Harlan Hilton son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy P. Hilton left here Wednesday Wed-nesday to go to Fillmore then on to Fort Douglas for induction in the Army. Farrel Terry is expected home on furlough Thursday. |
