Show Aged Father Dies In Panguitch William J. Henderson, Jr., died at his home in Panguitch Oct. 28 at the age of 82. He was the father fath-er of Warren Henderson of Delta, and John Henderson, former Delta, now living in Salem. Mr. Henderson was one of the early settlers of Garfield County, where he was engaged in stock raising. He was extremely active in developing that country, and had served three terms in the legislature, leg-islature, was the president of the Panguitch State Bank -for years, acted on the county welfare board and was the first state fish and game warden in Garfield county, as well as helping in their water resources. He had served as bishop bish-op of the Cannonville LDS ward, and filled four "missions, and for 15 years he was president of the LDS Panguitch stake. Funeral services were held in Panguitch on Wed-! Wed-! nesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Henderson left Delta on Tuesday morning for Panguitch. |
