Show Bride Is Honored At Tea and Shower Mrs. Wilford Bennett, who was Miss Colona Peterson before her marriage on May 31, was honored at a tea and shower Riven by her mother, Mrs. Clifford Peterson, on Thursday afternoon, at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Frances Tolbert, in Delta. Guests called from three to eight in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Bennett are making their home in Holden. Mr. and Mrs. J. Avery Bishop spent the first part of the week visiting in Logan, with their son, Alvin Bishop. Mr. and Mrs. Ora Denney, from Hawthorne Nevada, visited in Delta Del-ta over the week end with Mrs. W. E. Cook. Mrs. Oz Johnson's brother, Lt. John L. Sorenson, came in from Natal, Brazil, to visit for a few days of last week. Mrs. Johnson drove him up to his home in Smith-field Smith-field and visited a few days. On her return she brought back her sister-in law, Mrs. R. E. Sorenson, and son, Paul, who visited here a few days and then went on to their home in Parowan. |
