Show t IA(ftvavn(SG urn TPvIqq i ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1946, the subscription price of the 'Millard ; County Chronicle will be advanced to $3.50 a year, and news- t ' ! stand copies will be 10c. i L 1 -s THE ADVANCE is not due to extra costs of materials and - supplies, although they have advanced considerably in the past ! - three years. But the advance is mainly because we intend to run a larger and much better newspaper. s r J 1 t ' s PICTURES OF LOCAL PEOPLE and events will be featured ; in a more prominent manner than they have in the past. We r will try to have at least one-half page of local pictures a week, ' and to do this we ask that everyone aid in letting us know of the coming events that will justify a picture being published. The average picture costs us about $5.00 to take and have made into s a cut. The cut is made in Provo, and uner the present conditions it is delayed considerably in the long mail route it has to take. o So some of the pictures will be delayed and printed the following week. i J "v BETWEEN NOW AND SEPTEMBER first we want our sub- .. ' scribers to be the judges of whether or not the Chronicle is a far ' better newspaper than it is now. ONE- YEAR SUBSCRIPTIONS at the present rate of $2.50 a year will be accepted for a one-year period up to September 1. After that the price will be $3.50. Between now and September 1 statements will be sent all subscribers advising them of the condition of their subscription. Mil YOU GIVE THi7T I I G'VE MONEY M yOU n do!
