Show Special Fishing Proclamation January 1, 1944 WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable advis-able to make changes in fishing seasons on certain waters otherwise other-wise open to fishing under Section 30-0-32, Jtah Code, Annotated, 1943, Wherein unlimited angling for certain fish in certain waters is permitted. NOW THEREFORE, WE, the Fish and Game Commission of the State of Utah, by virtue of the authority vested in us by Section 30-0-7, Utah Code, Annotated, 1943, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Sevier River and its tributaries from U. B. Dam to Sevier Lake sinks in Millard County, be closed to all fishing until June 1, 1944. PROVIDED further that violation of the above provision shall be termed a misdemeanor, and shall be prosecuted as such. (Signed) Newell R. Frei. Attest: Russ Leonard.
