Mr. and Mrs. Brnnt Wall, of Salt Lake City, are here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Ogden. Mrs. Josephine Sudbury will spend the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nileson and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Larsen. George Presten, of Salt Lake, is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Simpson and Jay, will spend Christmas with Mrs. Simpson's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burten, in Huntington, Hunt-ington, Utah. Varley Dutson went to Washington, Washing-ton, to visit his son, Arnel, who is waiting to be discharged from the army. He expects to be home soon I with his wife, who is living in Salt Lake City. j ('lark Talbot returned from San i Francisco, to spend the holidays with his wife and parents, Mr. and j Mrs. John Talbot. Mrs. Bessie Judil. of Delta, spent Saturday, visiting her aunt. Mrs. Gladys Banks. Mr. L. R. Pfeifer arrived from Los Angeles. Friday evening, to spend i the holidays with his wife, Frances, Fran-ces, and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Simp- ' son. I Those who attended the Primary Union meeting Monday evening, at Delta, were; Mrs. Kate Hayes, Virginia Vir-ginia McMahan, Effie Allen, Mary Smith. Thu;sday evening a dance was n for the grarPjJ.cmi children, refreshments were served, iay morning a party was giv-.or giv-.or the school children, by their teachers, Mr. Jackson, Miss Marion Hull, and Mrs. Christein Pendray. A dainty luncheon was served and gifts were exchanged. A very happy hap-py time was enjoyed by all. Nancy Lynn Majers entertained at her home, Thursday evening, to la group of her school friends. The j occasion being her ninth birthday. The table was decorated in candles cand-les and Santa Claus' and a beau-' beau-' tiful birthday cake formed the cen- ter piece. A delicious luncheon and candy was served to the following boys and girls: Emmagene Nielson, Vona Lou Greathouse, Rayma and 'jay Bradfield, Myrna Coleman, Lewis Bowes, Bobby McCardell, Gene Vest, Gene Majers, Susie I Nielson, Janice Roper, Niel Pfeifer. Rayma Bradfield won first prize for pinning the beard on Santa ' Claus, and Lewis Bowers, for the J boys prize. Many gifts were received. re-ceived. i |
