Snendlove The Deseret, Oasis and Abraham Wards were the guests of the Hinckley Hin-ckley Ward last Sunday night at a special musical program furnished by the High School Chorus, which includes members from each of the four wards, and the Hinckley Ward Choir. It was a program of Christmas Christ-mas music, similar to the one that the Stake Choir will give in the Helta First Ward on December 26, and was also under the direction of Ladd Cropper. May G. Cropper and Roma Ekins were accompanists accompan-ists on the organ and the piano. The program consisted of chorus and choir singing, solos, duets and double quartet numbers as follows: "Joy to the World" Handel; "I Heard the Bells" Calkin; "If With All Your Hearts" Mendelssohn, sung by the Choir and Chorus. "White Christmas," vocal solo sung by Howard Mcintosh. "Winter Wonderland" vocal trio sung by Carol Moody, Rozella Keller and lone Hilton. "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" John Reading; "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" Render; "The Heavens Heav-ens Resound" Beethoven, sung by the Choir and Chorus. "Holy City", sung by Orlando Hepworth, Dean Talbot, George Ekins. Ek-ins. Cluff Talbot, Alma Western, Ladd Cropper, Blaine Spendlove and Ross Hilton. "Thanks Be to God" Dickson; "Cantique de Noel" Adolphe Adam, Ad-am, sung by Chorus Choir and Girls Glee club, Carol Moody, Lola Wright, Rozella Keller, Jin Christensen, Christ-ensen, Jack Manis and Derrell All-red. All-red. "Silent Night", sung by Chorus, Choir. Wilma Woodbury and Howard How-ard Mcintosh. "Hallelujah Chorus" Handel, the finale, sung by the chorus and Choir. Mr. Wesley Hardy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Hardy, of Hinckley, is now home on shore leave. He is in the service of the United States Navy and has been in the South Pacific area for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Jensen were ' in Salt Lake City on Saturday to take their small baby for a treatment treat-ment of its nose and throat. The Christmas holidays brings to the homes of the parents many sons and daughters, to spend their vacation with them. Among those who are now home are: Merlyne Moody, Dwight Moody, Dean Hilton, Hil-ton, Marden Stapley, Dee Wright, Melvin Hepworth, Berneice Hep-worth, Hep-worth, Thola Hepworth, Grant Woodbury, Edward Woodbury, Bet-te Bet-te Hardy and Delma Jean Webb. Mr. Calvin Warnick, who has been attending school in Wisconsin, Wiscon-sin, is now a the home of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Warnick. Harlan Hilton is now at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy P. Hilton. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hilton are also visiting with their' parents. j Mr. D. H. Mcintosh returned Thurday night, to his home in Hin- I ckley, from New York, where he has been on business. Meldon and Joy are also home for the holidays. |
