Show Calf Wrecks Car Near Lynndyl Last Wednesday night Leland Prouse, from Kanosh, was driving into Delta, and with him were Mrs. Mary Taylor, and her two daughters, daugh-ters, of Hinckley, returning from Salt Lake City. Near Lynndyl they stopped, and helped Dr. M. E. Bird with a flat on his car, and then drove on ahead of him. They hadn't had-n't driven far on the highway, and were making about forty miles an hour, when they ran into cattle on the highway. Mr. Prouse hit a calf, which was not killed by the impact im-pact and later made off, but the car was badly damaged and stalled stal-led on the road. No one was hurt in the car, although Mrs. Taylor had a sprained ankle, but the car had the radiator smashed over the fan, front fenders torn off, a door broken, and the handle broken. The ' next car by was Dr. Bird, coming on behind, them, who brought them into the hospital to be looked over, where they were treated for cuts and abrasions. |
