Mrs. Blaine Spenuicve Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bishop and children, Dorothy and Orion, were visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Robinson and other friends in Hinckley Hin-ckley on Saturday and Sunday. Rae and Thola Hepworth spent the week end in Hinckley visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Hepworth. The chief purpose pur-pose of their visit was to attend the Hinckley high school opera. Rex Carter is now visiting with his sister, Mrs. Louise Sly in Beaver. Bea-ver. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Sly were visiting Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Willis E. (Bud) Robison are the parents of a baby boy, whom they named Berry. They are now living in the state of Virginia. Vir-ginia. Word has also been received in Hinckley that Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Abbott are the parents of a boy Machael Dennis, born March 18. The Abbotts live in Oakland, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Moody and children, Carol, Mary and Duane are now on a trip to San Francisco where they will meet their son Venor who has been released from service in the navy. Mr. and Mrs. Lurous Blake visited visit-ed last week at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Blake. Mrs. Blake has been in Santa, Ana, Cal. during the while Lurous was in the service. Mr. and Mrs. Blake are now residing in Pocatello, Ida. Del.ois Rohins and family were visited by Melvin Robins Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Grace Warnick was a Salt Lake visitor last week. Her son, Marion, brought her back to Hinckley. Hin-ckley. Mrs. Marion Warnick. who has been visiting for some time in Hinckley has now gone to visit her toiks in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Reed Stewart, who has been attending at-tending the U. S. A.C is now home to help his father with spring farming. far-ming. He intends to enroll in lae school again this fall. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Reeve, Dell Shurtliff, Lars Bishop, Miss Rae Hepworth and Miss Mavis Dews-nup Dews-nup motored to Provo Saturday to attend a scout meeting. Mrs. Rose Knight is now in Hinckley Hin-ckley for a short stay. Her son Jesse is here on leave. He will be sent to the Panama Canal area. Mrs. Knight will return again to Salt Lake to receive medical treatment. treat-ment. The Bentley Trio was favorably received at the Hinckley high last week. Miss Bentley's dancing was superb. They played upon a ma-rnna-xylaphone instrument that Mr. Bentley had made himself 40 years ago, it being the largest instrument in-strument of its kind in the world. He made it while they were tour- ing in Australia. Maughan Bishop has returned to Hinckley for the summer after spending the winted with his parents par-ents in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Hazel Stewart and Mrs. Gladys Carter entertained on Monday Mon-day in honor of their father's birthday birth-day at his home. Present were their father and mother, (Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Stewart I, Mr. and Mrs. Max Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Talbot, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bishop, Mrs. Abigail Anderson, Merrill Stewart and Rex Carter. On Sunday Mrs. Golden Talbot and Mrs. Florencce Stewart entertained enter-tained the adove group, as well as Mr. and Mrs. William Beard, at the home of Gladys Carter, in honor hon-or of her birthday. |
