Show Flying Club Starts Training On Tuesday Forty-two Sign Up For Training in Newly Organized Club Tuesday officers from the CAP bringing three planes, came to Delta Del-ta to commence training people here to qualify for a private pilot's license. The planes will remain here as long as Mie good weather lasts and try to solo as many of the students as possible. They are using the Delta airport for their training and instruction. At the present writing there have been forty-two sign up for the course of training, which costs $65 a person. As the main group of students comes from the Delta High school, the training has been divided into seven periods with small groups going to the airport every hour. There they have three instructors who subdivide the groups into small classes for their basic training. The Aeronautics Club of the Delta Del-ta High school, under the leadership leader-ship of Grant Snow, is sponsoring the training and many members of the club have signed up. Hinckley has signed up a few, and the balance bal-ance of the members come from Delta townspeople. After the training period when the members have soloed they will no doubt be able to get a plane and form a regular flying club for further training to build their hours up for a Private Pilot's License.
