Show Deseret MRS. ARPRILLA SCOW Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Eliason returned retur-ned home this week after having spent the past six weeks at Mesa, Arizona. Miss Delva Glines and Miss Anna Lou Dewsnup who are attending the BYU at Provo visited over the week end with Anna Lou's father, Harmon Dewsnup and sister Mrs, Mavis Hardy. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Worthen from Salt Lake City were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin Cropper. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Croft, Mrs. Evva Croft and Donald Croft returned re-turned home this week after spend ing the past two weeks at California, Califor-nia, visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leone Croft. The Deseret Ward Relief Society held their annual St. Patrick's day party Saturday night for all married mar-ried people of the ward. A very fine program was given after which games and dancing were enjoyed by a large crowd. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Ross and family fam-ily from Ely, Nevada spent several days with their parents, Mr. and jvirs. Lawrence Bennett or Deseret and Mr. and Mrs. James Ross of Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Verland Willden of Salt Lake City spent the week end at Deseret with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bennett. Mrs. Bennett returned home with them and visited from Sunday until un-til Thursday. Among the basketball fans at Salt Lake City this past week from Deseret were Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Dutson, June Dutson, Gary Dutson, Henry Kent Dewsnup, Johnny Jensen, Jen-sen, Milden Scow, Gill Dutson, Ver-don Ver-don Davis, Fae Davis, Shirley and Joyce Davis and also Junior Davis from Milford who is visiting at the Verdon Davis home. Ray Western, Wes-tern, Ethel Western, Janice, Myrna and Donald Western and Dale and Marlena Carling. Mr. and Mrs. James Sampson entertained Monday evening. A lovely dinner was served to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Webb, Mr jand Mrs1. Spencer Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Crafts. Rook was played. High score was won by Mr .and Mrs. Spencer Webb and low by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Crafts. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewsnup visited vis-ited Monday and Tuesday at Fillmore Fill-more with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. B. Mace. mi. ana Mrs. lieitn Moody are the proud parents of a baby girl born Saturday at the Delta hospital. |
