Show LeanaingtOBi MRS. MABEL HARDER A large number of Leamington parents and students attended the Class B basketball tournament in Salt Lake City. All were thrilled with Delta's performance and report re-port a capacity crowd at all games Because of the large number of people going to the tournament Saturday evening, the Relief Society Soc-iety Bazaar and basket dance was postponed. The date will be announced an-nounced later. Evan Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Nielson, is home on furlough from Lowry Field in Denver. Den-ver. Evan is scheduled to go to California at the end of ' his furlough fur-lough and then overseas. Coming home over the week end to visit with their brother were Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Nielson and children of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Underwood Un-derwood of Eureka; and Mr. and Mrs. Darnae Nielson of Provo. The MIA presented their play, "Bolts and Nuts" in Deseret Thurs- -day evening. This was a benefit performance sponsored by the Oasis Garden Club to get funds to landscape their church grounds. On Friday night the cast journeyed to Scipio for the final performance. Word has been received from the boys in Korea that all four Leamington boys, Bevan Nielson, Orin and Thello Nielson and Boyd Harder are scheduled to leave for home between April 1st and April 15th. |
