Show Bruce Bliss Is Reported Missing In Korea Action First Lt. Clarence Bruce Bliss has .iff-, mis-sing i-.S action in Korea since Feb. 19, according to word .ict.'ivcd a week ago by his parents, par-ents, Clarence and I.oreen Haight Bliss, at Orem. Lt. Bliss was born in Hinckley, J'ld wps graduated from Hinckley high school. He entered service with the 145 Field Artillery battalion, was sent to Korea in August, 1951, and for a short time was stationed with the 213th Field Artillorw hottolin southern Utah National Guard unit. un-it. Later he was assigned to instruct Korean troops in the use of American Amer-ican artillery, and since completing complet-ing his task, had been assigned as an aerial observer. His wife, Glenna, and a son, Michael, 4, are residing with her parents in Bountiful. Lt. Bliss had recently written to his family stating that he expected expec-ted to return on rotation sometime some-time in April. |
