Auxiliary 117 Lists Projects The American Legion Auxiliary 117 met Monday night and reports were made on various projects. Four meetings were held during September to outline and work on projects for the coming year. It was voted to continue to assist as-sist the Welfare League of Ogden, the Primary Children's Hospital, the Utah County Infirmary and the American Fork training school. The project for October will be to collect old sheets, pillow cases, and white cloths to be made into dressing for the American Cancer Society. Checks from the Jensen Unit were presented to the Richfield and Cedar City Units to help defray de-fray expenses for the trio and quartette that are entering, competition com-petition at the National Convention Conven-tion to be held in Miami, Fla., next week. Checks were also made to the West. Millard Hospital Assn. building build-ing fund in memory of the mother- of two members. Unit 117 is being represented at Logan at the Adult Leadership School for Women by Mrs. Gladys Carter. The Walking Blood Bank of the unit and Post 117 was called upon recently for blood needed in an |
