Show and Sunday. Lee Shipley and family visited in Oak City .Saturday. Lee is home from Provo where he is employed and has spent a few days with his family and friends. I -Oak City- MAE H. SHIPLEY As usual the chapel was filled Sunday evening at sacrament meet ing. The speakers of the evening were Elder Bruce Lovell, who has returned from the Texas Louisiana mission. It was very interesting. The choir led by E. L. Dutson furnished fur-nished hymns and a requested anthem. Some of his older members visit in;.: from school having taken part in the- sin.;Tuu; made the music very fine. Miss Wilma Wixom and Mrs. Thelma Dutson accompanied on the organ and piano. The Wedding dance Saturday ev er.ing was a very lovely affair. Large crowd present and many beautiful presents. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jacobsbn and Mr. and Mrs. George H. Anderson were in Salt Lake to attend the wedding of Miss Arvilla Jacobsen. Miss Laurel Anderson and Miss Avis Anderson were home from Salt Lake. Miss Avis Anderson is attending the LDS business college i Lhis winter. Mr: and Mrs. LeRoy Anderson are smiling and spreading the news of their first grandson born at ; the Delta hospital, Jan. 30, to Mr. ' and Mrs. Marion Anderson. j Among those attending the funeral fun-eral services of George Lovell at Pleasant Grove this week were Mr. Collier Lovell, Mrs. Owen Lovell, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderson, Mr. Don Anderson and daughters, Colleen Col-leen and Maurine, Mr. Junior Anderson, And-erson, Mrs. Lorenzo Lovell and Mrs. Florence Lovell. Marvin Lovell and Margaret Roper Ro-per spent several days in Pleasant Grove with the bereaved family and friends. ! Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Anderson have 1 visited several days in Salt Lake. ; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lovell visit-; ed on their way home from Texas with Merlin and Merton Lovell at St. George. Miss Viola Talbot visited from St. George where she is attending school Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Bruce Lovell had her father a sister and a brother, to hear Elder Lovell's report Sunday even ing and welcome him home. Also Mr. and Mrs. Lem Lovell were visitors. vis-itors.
