Show Scientist Says Look in Eyes Of Mom Tells Sex of Babies FRANKFURT, GERMANY. Can a look by a trained scientist into the eyes of an expectant mother accurately ac-curately forecast the sex of the unborn baby? A Weisbaden doctor claims that it can. He is Dr. William Witzel who says that after 10 years of experiments ex-periments he has solved the age-old age-old riddle of telling whether an unborn un-born infant will be a boy or a girL The army allowed Dr. Witzel to enter the women's clinic of its 97th general hospital to settle whether the German really has the answer. "Everything is possible," said one army doctor. "It might be a hoax, but, on the other hand, you can tell a lot of things by looking at a person's eyes." Witzel took an ordinary medical medi-cal instrument for examining eyes and peered into the irises of each of the 35 American women. The women, wives of U. S. military mil-itary and state department personnel person-nel in Frankfurt, all are in the last month of pregnancy. The first results of his tests will be known when babies are born to the women who volunteered to undergo the test. Witzel said he had noted that the Iris of a woman's eyes changes in pregnancy and that different " changes take place, depending on the sex of the infant. |
