The Cedar City Redskins managed manag-ed to edge out a victory over the HHS Mustangs during an extra three minute playing time when they tossed in five points to top the score 52-49. Hard 'fighting, coordinated co-ordinated play by both sides put the score on ice at the end of the final quarter 47-47 and resulted in extended time. The Redskins at the end of the first three minutes of playing time had the Hinckley squad doubled dou-bled 8-4, but the HHS five got wound up and put in ten points to Cedar's one during the remainder remain-der of the period to top the Redskins Red-skins 14-9 as the first period ended. end-ed. The Hinckley Basketeers were dead on shots during the second period when they kept a wide mar gin between themselves and the visitors. A halftime score of 25-16 was recorded. Both teams sobered down somewhat some-what after their two period spree but Hinckley managed to keep just one jump ahead of the Redskins Red-skins and still held the top score as the eight minutes ended 35-34. This game really revealed the polish and teamwork the HHS squad has acquired since the season sea-son started. It promises to rate them a high berth in league play.
