Show North Tract Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foote, and daughter, Miss Marjorie Needham, went to Salt Lake Monday for a check on the recent operation on Miss Needham. Mr. and Mrs. Firkin, and two children, of Sioux City, Iowa, are making a visit of two weeks with Mrs. Firkin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Armond Ogden. Mrs. Firkin was the former DeJoy Ogden. The annual Sutherland Relief Society party was held Thursday night, March 17, consisting of a short program, dancing and refresh ments. Highlight of the party was the floor show, and a number by some female impersonators, who danced and sang "You Great Big Beautiful Doll". Mr. and Mrs. Max Johnson are having a short vacation in Los Angeles, where Max had made a shipment of two carloads of pigs. Sutherland ward hall was overflowing over-flowing with guests Friday night, for the wedding reception that honored Mr. and Mrs. Dawayne Kimber. Mrs. Kimber was the former for-mer Miss Beth Bunker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Bunker. Mrs. Dee Sanford is in Salt Lake recovering at the hospital from an operation Tuesday. Dorothy and Eugene Sanford, and John Walker were home last week from the AC in Logan, for the spring vacation. Mrs. Henrietta Barben is getting around again, after two . weeks confinement with a badly sprained ankle. The Jolly Stitchers will hold a party for their husbands Monday evening, in the Woodrow hall. |
