Show Fine Arts Club Hears Programs On March 21, La Rue Nickle was hostess to the Fine Arts Club. Present Pre-sent were Alta Ashby, Evelyn Rob-ison, Rob-ison, Arvetta Nickle, Marjorie Gard ner, Claire Stephenson, Harriet Eli-ason, Eli-ason, Margaret Jensen, Leona Prest wich, Shirley Christensen, Mary Moody, and Mary Wright, with guests, Virginia Lyman and Leona Works. Mrs. Prestwich had charge of the program that night, which included music and a reading. Taking part on the program was the Delta high school sextet, Kent Prestwich, Kenneth Fullmer, Winston Christen sen, Lila Sampson, Bonnie Black and Cherie Hannifan, who sang followed by a number by the girls trio. Norma Kimber gave a reading, read-ing, Kent Prestwich sang a solo, Joyce Terry a solo, and Laure Anderson, And-erson, a piano solo, her own composition. com-position. Light refreshments were served later. March 28, Lenore Gardner was hostess for the club meeting, with Arvetta Nickle in charge of the program. Gardening was the topic that night, with Mrs. Ruth Bishop giving a talk. Members present were those listed above, and Carol Schlappi. Guest were Barbara Spendlove, and Ruby Vodak. Light refreshments were served after the program. |
