Miss Barbara Hayes went to Le-hi Le-hi Wednesday to visit her grandparents grand-parents there. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Nielson have moved their furniture to Provo, where Mr. Nielson is working work-ing as a switchman there. Mr. and Mrs. Gavin Weir will occupy their home here. Mrs. Kirt Koper rode to Provo Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Nielson to see their new home. Monday Roy Clark and Carl Ivie went to Provo for the day. Mr. and Mrs. Red Clark and children visited here with Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Smith. Virginia is caring for the two boys while they went to Salt Lake. Bill Simpson went to Salt Lake Monday on business. Wallace Allen went to Provo on Tuesday and will soon be moving his family there.. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson of Delta visited Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Roper. Mrs. Grayson Ropen went to Delta Friday and helped her brother, broth-er, Phillip, celebrate his birthday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Black. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Roper and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stewart stopped here on their way to Salt Lake City Thursday and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson. Mrs. Annie Roper who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Lydia Smith in Beaver came and spenl Thursday and Friday with her granddaughter, Nada Simpson and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Gray-son Roper. She will then visit her son, Leland Roper in Oak City for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Allen went to Salt Lake Friday and returned Saturday. C. E. Simpson and M. E. Majers spent Saturday in Lynndyl. Mrs. Lottie Gronning is spending a few days in Provo with her husband. hus-band. Mr.' and Mrs. Jim Smith were Salt Lake visitors this week. Mrs. Charles Williams of Leamington, Leam-ington, Mrs. Chase and daughter, Colleen, of Nephi, and Mrs. Esther Chase and daughter, Diane, also of Nephi, visited Thursday afternoon after-noon with Mrs. Rachel Simpson and Janeane. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills spent a few days in Milford this week. Mrs. William Coleman returned from Salt Lake and is feeling some better. Myron Vest is here from Milford to visit a few days with his wife. Mrs. Jennie Huddleston spent a few days in Salt Lake City visiting her sister. Mr. Banks received word from Mrs. Banks that she is enjoying her visit in California with her sister, Winn. She is giving a party in her honor and inviting all the people who formerly lived in Lynndyl. But Mr. Banks doesn't seem to be enjoying a housewife and will welcome wel-come her home. . Mrs. Norine Shipley went to Provo Pro-vo to visit with her husband. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nielson and children went to Las Vegas this week. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nielson and children enjoyed a vacation in California, visiting with Betsy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Trotter. Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Black and children of Delta spent Sunday visiting their daughter, Mrs. Grayson Gray-son Roper. Mr. and Mrs. Junius Anderson and small daughter of Oak City, visited with Mr. and Mrs. William Coleman on Sunday. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson had as dinner guests Mr. - and Mrs. Leland Roper, Mrs. Annie Roper, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Stewart and small daughter, Sharon Shar-on Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Roper. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Allen and daughter, Ruby, went to Provo on Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Seorge Godfrey. Mr. and Mrs. Don James and children of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Gill Johnson, visited here Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark and they all enjoyed the Veterans dance at Leamington. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hayes, and Mrs. and Mrs. Willie Lovell also went to the dance. Mrs. Lucille Overson, Mrs. Wallace Wall-ace Allen and Ruby, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Sheriff, daughter, Shirley, also Arlene went to Delta for the Gold and Green ball. Arlean was queen and Shirley and Ruby attendants. Mrs. Gladys Banks returned home from California and stopped in Milford to see her grandson, Freddie Fred-die Miller, who has been burned. Mr. and Mrs. Lile Johnson spent the weekend in Hurricane, with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson. Sunday Colleen and Rex Chase, of Nephi, Orran Nelson, Don Williams Will-iams and Janeane Simpson and Bonnie Nielson went to Ely, Nevada Neva-da and returned Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Whatcott went to Arizona to attend the wedding wed-ding of their son, Garth. Mrs. Gene Dutson of Provo is here staying with the boys while Mrs. Whatcott is in Arizona. Monday Rachel Simpson, Jay, and Janeane, and Norma Majers went to Provo and Spanish Fork and visited with Mrs. Harry Elmer there. |
