Sugarvillc Joe Boyle of the Army Air Corps . is here on furlough visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Boyle. Frank' Hill has returned home after a visit in California. Mr. and Mrs. Art Hill are in Salt Lake City for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Romulus Shields are home after a short visit in Idaho with their children. They saw their new grandson, the new baby of Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Shields They also report their grandson, La Vor Harriss, is recovering nicely from injuries received when he was run over by a truck a few weeks ago. Lawrence Shields is home after spending the winter in Idaho. Mrs. La Von Stewart of Idaho is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Ashby. New Name Voted For CIh1 The Rook-- a Rues met at the home of Vada Van for their club party for this week. This group has been meeting for several years, has not until now given them-selves a specific name,, other than "Rook Club"". It was at their last meeting that they voted to be known at the Rook-a-Rue- s. After enjoying a lovely luncheon the group played One-hig- h Rook. Present were club members Donna Sagers, Verle Damron, Bessie Webb Melvola Russell, Madge Hales, Mar ie Lake and Lucille Sampson, with Kathie Boothe as a special guest. High score was held by Mrs. Hales with Mrs. Lake holding second and Verle Damron being the fortunate holder of the traveling prize. Mrs. Sagers received the consolation while Mrs. Boothe held the guest prize. We congratulate you Bonnie, and also the Mutual officers. Mr. and Mrs. James Mace spent a few days in Salt Lake City. Vernal Johnson from Tooele, Ut., spent the weekend with his mother Maud Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Max Eliason and Genevieve Eliason from Spanish Fork, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Eliason. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Warner are spending two weeks in Ogden vis-iting Mrs. Warner's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Crafts and son and Mrs. Crafts brothers are spending two weeks in Colorado. Mrs. Therza Webb spent a week la Hawley, Beth Moody and Arvilla Scow. High scores were held by Lucile Sampson and Delores Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden of Garrison spent two days with' Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Warner. in Los Angeles and Pasadena, Cal-ifornia. Mrs. Effie Moody and Norma Moody are spending a week in Salt Lake City. Last week Matt Cropper, Cecil Warner, Millden Scow and O. L. Dutson made a trip to Salt Lake City to attend the rodeo conven-tion. Miss Caroline Christensen spent a couple of days in Salt Lake City Miss Belva Baker from Provo spent the weekend with her par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson have moved into their new home, which has just been completed. It is a very beautiful home with all new furnishings and decorating. Mrs. Carrie Christensen and Mrs. Josie Moody spent a day last week visiting in Fillmore. Mrs. Erma Dean Croft enter-tained the Deseret Rook club on Thursday. A nice lunch was served and Rook was played.
