Show 4-11 Leader Wins Award in State Lyman Finlinson of Oak City, who has been a 4-H leader seven years, was one of six club leaders in Utah to receive state recognition recogni-tion from the Utah Farm Bureau Federation at its annual meeting, held recently in Salt Lake City. Mr. Finlinson, one of.l7UO 4-n leaders in Utah, was awarded a beautiful gold medal with his name engraved on the back in recognition of his work as a club leader. He and the other five awardees were selected by a state He has had about 90 members ' in the 4-H clubs he has led. Contributions Con-tributions made by him particularly particular-ly to 4-H boys and girls have been in record keeping, learning how to feed livestock, in fitting and show ing, and in leadership. "Mr. Finlinson is an outstanding outstand-ing man in his community," commented com-mented Rodney G. Rickenbach, county agricultural agent, who has charge of club work in Millard county. He is a veteran on-the-job train ing supervisor, president of the Oak City Farm Bureau, secretary of the Oak City Forest Users association, as-sociation, a member of the extension exten-sion service county planning committee, com-mittee, is active in L. D. S. church work, and is a World War II veteran. |
