Show CoiapSc Wedded In Temple Kites An impressive ceremony solemnized solem-nized Dec. 1 in the Salt Lake Temple Tem-ple united in marriage Miss Shirley Shir-ley Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Smith of Smithfield, and Darold Whatcott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Whatcoot of Lynndyl. President Robert D. Young performed per-formed the rites. The marriage was atended by the parents of both the bride and the groom, also Mr. and Mrs. Garth Whatcott, Mr. and Mrs. Carl What cott, Mr. and Mrs. Newel Howlett, Mrs. Anthony Stephenson and Mrs. Amy Erickson. Following the nuptials the new-lyweds new-lyweds were honored at a wedding breakfast at the Doll House.. Friday evening a reception was held at the Smith home. The bride was very lovely in a gown of gleaming white satin with lace yoke insert and full skirt. Her fingertip fin-gertip veil of bride's illusion fell from a beaded tiara of lace and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds. Miss Maurine Smith was maid of honor and the I Bride's maids were Kay Dawn and Colleen, sisters of the bride. Garth Whatcott assumed best man duties for his brother. The new Mr. and Mrs. Darold Whatcott are making their home in Salt Lake City. |
