Show - Leamington Mrs. Pearl Nelson Mr. and Mrs. Ed Vest of May-field May-field and daughter, spent last the weekend visiting with Mr. and Mrs ' Rulon Dutson and family. I Grant Nielson and Merrill Dutson Dut-son left Sunday for Ephraim to attend Snow college this quarter. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Ovcrson have moved into the Grant Nielson Niel-son home. We are happy to welcome wel-come thorn to our community. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Nielson visited vis-ited in Leamington over the week end. Mrs. Kenneth Nielson and children child-ren spent the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting and shopping. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bradfield and family spent last weekend visiting vis-iting her sister in Cannonville. While there they drove on to Bryce Canyon and saw many places of interest. Mrs. Alta Lovell is still sick and in bed. Her sister, Faun Hill, has been staying with her and taking care of the family. We hope she soon is able to be up and around again. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nielson return ed last week from a ttrip back east. They bought them a new Buick and had a very good time. Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Poters of Las Vegas announce the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Leila, to Mr. Arnold Hall of Las Vegas. Miss Peters is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Bradfield. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Hansen spent a few days in Salt Lake City shopping, and in Orem visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lewis last week. Friday, Dec. 9 at 2:30 p.m. Mr. Sherwood, the state highway patrolman, pa-trolman, will be at the school-house school-house to show films and give a program on safety. Everyone is urged to come as it will be interesting inter-esting and well worth your time. On Dec. 16, the following Friday, the PTA will hold their regular meeting. Mr. A. M. Maughan will be here to talk and answer any Questions we may have. After the meeting we will have another sqare dance ,so everyone keep the dates in mind and plan to be there. A Primay officers and teachers preparation meeting was held on Monday night at the home of Klee Finlinson, with Freda Hansen as assisting hostess. All officers and teachers were present and refreshments refresh-ments were served. The teachers wish to thank all parents who came out and participated parti-cipated in American Education week and wish a few more had come. They invite all parents to come and see what their children are doing anytime. Mr. and Mrs. Carson Crandall and Mr. and Mrs. Orson Prestwich spent last weekend visiting Mr. and Mr. John Anderson and Essie Anderson. |
