Mrs. May Draper, from Salt Lake is visiting here with her sister, Mrs. Blanche Works. Monday night a nephew, Lloyd Larson, visited Mrs. Works, on his way to Milford. They made the trip with him as far as Clear Lake, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hardy. Melville Bishop camp DUP, will meet Friday at 2:30 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Romania Por-ter. Mrs. Cora Larson will assist her as hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Lee McAllister were travelling over the weekend, visit-ing at St. George and Cedar City. They met their son, Lee Ray, in St. George, Saturday, where he was with the track team. They were in Cedar City Saturday night for the BAC opera, "La Traviata", in which Lee Ray sang one of the leading parts. Zoe Porter, another former Delta hieh srhnnl stnrient was also in the opera, a member of the chorus. The opera played four nights, and the closing performance Satur-day night was broadcast over Ced-ar City"s radio station. At the end different members of the cast were called on for short talks. Mrs. Graff of Salt Lake spent the weekend with her sister, Mrs. Tillman Twitchell. AUXILIARIES WILL MEET MONDAY WITH FILLMORE UNIT Members of the Auxiliaries of American Legion Posts 89 and 117 are invited by the Fillmore Auxil-iary to meet with them in Fillmore for a visit of Mrs. Lela Banks, de-partment president. The meeting will be at 2 p.m. All members who can make the trip are urged to attend. Trans-portation may be arranged through Mrs. Edna Workman, Mrs. Angie Cahoon and Mrs. Ruth Steele. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Webb and children, from St. George, were weekend visitors in Delta, with Mrs Webb's parents Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Turner. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gardner from Salt Lake City, visited in Delta Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gardner. They attended meeting Sunday night in Delta Second ward, when their brother, Elder Ray Gardner, told of his missionary work in Hawaii. Their grandmother, Mrs. W. M. Gardner, who had been visit-ing in Delta, returned with them Sunday night, going on to her home at Twin Falls, Idaho. Descret Lucile Sampson The last class of the home de-corators was a party, in honor of Mrs. Beth Mecham Anderson, their teacher. The women in Deseret surely enjoyed this class, and want to think Mrs. Anderson for the fine work she has done. Mr and Mrs. Cloyd Bennett, from Las Vegas, are spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. J. A.
