Show Sugarville A lovely party was held on- Friday Fri-day evening, honoring the retiring Bishopric, at the ward church. A lovely program was rendered and the retiring Bishopric each presented present-ed with a nice pen and pencil set. After a lovely lunch was served the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. Doyel Shields and friend Reese Thomas of the BYU spent the week end with Doyle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rom Shields. Salt Lake conference visitors from Sugarville were Bishop and Harold Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Losee, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Boothe, and Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Boothe and Carolyn Boothe. ' Mrs. Lee Boothe underwent an operation last week in Salt Lake and is recovering nicely. Miss Velda Boothe was home over the weekend from the BAC. Mr. and Mrs. James Boyle and Clair Boyle of Salt Lake visited over the weekend with relatives here. Mrs. Boyle remained here with her father. James Shields who is ill. |
