Show Mark 50 Years of Married Life ... .... : if:-; ' l ysk.fc : Frank A. and Mary S. Beckwith August 25,1948, marked the 50th wedding anniversary of Frank A. Beckwith, editor of the Millard County Chronicle, and his wife, Mary S. Beckwith. The occasion was celebrated the following night with a family dinner at the home of their son, Frank S. Beckwith. I Mr. and Mrs. Beckwith have i been residents of Delta since 1913. i ; Mr. Beckwith came here in Feb-' ruary of that year, as first cashier I of the first bank, the Delta State Bank. In 1918 they bought the Mill , 1 ard County Chronicle, which has , been a family enterprise since. Mr. Beckwith was born Nov. 24, 1876 and raised in Evanston, Wyo- ming, a son of A. C. and Mary : Rose Beckwith. Mrs. Beckwith was born May 1, 1874 and raised in Coalville, Utah, a daughter of John William and Elizabeth Brierly Sim-ister. Sim-ister. They were married in Coalville Coal-ville 50 years ago at the home of the bride's parents. They made : their home for several years in Evanston, then moved to Salt Lake City, and then to Delta. Their children are Athena B. Cook and Frank S. Beckwith, of Delta, and Florence Wealtha Reeves, of Preston, Idaho. Their ! three grandchildren are Jessie Lynn Cook, and Susan and Mary Jane Beckwith.
