Show Cars Look Bad After Locking Horns on Corner Two new cars were considerably damaged in a collision Monday at 10 a. m. The accident occurred on the blind corner south of the Glen Crawford farm. Mrs. Zola Bunker driving a 1948 Ford from the west, turned north at the corner, where brush prevented her from seeing another car. Newell Dewsnup, in the 1949 Ford he had bought but two weeks ago, was driving south. The casr met head on, leaving the front of the Dewsnup car folded fold-ed up like an accordion. The Bunker Bun-ker car had the fender, grill and bumper damaged. Mr. Dewsnup was not hurt. Mrs. Bunker spent Monday afternoon and night in the Delta hospital, treated for bruises and shock. |
