Show 4-II Style Revue Winners Listed Many Take Part ! Janet Sanford, Sutherland, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sanford ! and Edna Smith, Fillmore, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Smith, j were winners in the County 4-H I Style Revue, and will represent i Millard County at the State Style ! Dress Revue held in connection with the State Fair, September 18 to 25. These girls will model their complete costume they have made during 4-H this year. Betty Bunker, Sutherland, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bunker will send her complete girl's costume cost-ume to the State Fair. This costume cost-ume consists of a suit, slip and accessories, and was made by Betty Bet-ty in her 4-H project this year, and won a blue ribbon at the Fair. Dorothy Brumley, Sutherland, 1st year clothing, will send her dress and apron as an individual exhibit. 1 Kathryn Sanford, Sutherland, will exhibit a bed spread she has made as an individual exhibit in the Home Improvement Division. A first year clothing group led by Janet Sanford, will exhibit a-prons, a-prons, dresses, hot pads, stocking darns and record books as a group exhibit. ' A 2nd year foods group led by Elva Webb will exhibit canned fruits as a group exhibit and a group led by Verna Mae Shipley, Oak City, will exhibit loaves of white and whole wheat bread and canned fruits and vegetables. The were 32 blue ribbon awards given to West Millard girls at the Fair, in addition to the above. The 4-H girls are now busy completing com-pleting all their projects so that they can receive a certificate of completion at the County Achievement Achieve-ment Day to be held in the late fall or early winter. |
