Three of our soldier boys, Axle Nielsen, Lloncll Jensen and Earl N'lel-sen, N'lel-sen, came up from Fort Douglas last Saturday for a short visit with parents par-ents and friends, returning Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Olson delightfully de-lightfully entertained at a chicken supper last Thursday evening. Tho guests wero Mr. and Mrs. Itosenbaum, Dr. and Mrs. P. W. Ellason, and Mr. and Mrs. Goodhue. The Golden Hour club met at the residence of Mrs. C. II. Ilalph last Thursday. Six members wero present, pres-ent, and Mrs. J. J. Dalley was present pres-ent as special guest. Delicious refreshments re-freshments were served and a very enjoyable afternoon was spent by the ladles. Mr. Fred Miller and daughters, Mrs. Floyd Nielsen, Mrs. Earl Anh-der Anh-der and Miss Emma Miller, quietly planned a very pleasant surprise on Mrs. Miller Sunday evening, Sept. 2, it being her EOth birthday. A number num-ber of friends gathered at the home, where a bountiouB supper was served by the daughters of the hostess, and a very pleasant and enjoyable time was spent. |
