The choir, under the able leadership leader-ship of Samuel II. Mltton, rendered the anthem, "Loyalty," by Professor Profess-or Kvan Stephens. The opening prayer pray-er was offered by Klder W. A. Noble. Tho choir then sang tho anthem, "Tho Lord Hath Redeemed III People," a beautiful selection composed com-posed by Professor Alfred M. Durham who also conducted tho choir during tho rendition of this number, which began with a fine tenor solo, which was rendered by Professor C. R. Johnson of the U. A. C. This number also Includes a beautiful quartet. Oi-miii l Whitney Apostle Orson F. Whitney said that his sermon would bo a continuation of tho theme upon which ho had been led to dwell upon this morning, and ho called attention to the prophecy of tho Prophet Joseph Smith regarding regard-ing tho move westward of the Mormon Mor-mon people, also ot his other proph ecy regarding the beginning ot a great war between the North and the South. This fornlng ho dwelt on tho establishment of Zlon, explaining that it had' not been established in Missouri, because the Saints had not been prepared for It. Notwithstanding Notwithstand-ing tho FropheJoseph predicted the war, ho had suggested moans whero-by whero-by It might bo averted.
