Show MUTUAL CHORAL SOCIETY SHOULD BE SUPPORTED A committee from the Cache Mutual Mu-tual Choral Society, a new organization, organiza-tion, and n committee from tho Commercial Com-mercial Club are making arrangements arrange-ments for the Club to get back of and give Its moral support to M1I3 musical society. Such an organization organiza-tion would develop the talent of the city and bo very useful on many public pub-lic occasions. This society Is under the able direction of Professor. L. Sardoul and has over sixty-five members. mem-bers. This is an excellent opportunity for the development of local talent, and as Logan has a good reputation for good talent and appreciation of good music, this organization should be encouraged. This society Is a community com-munity organization and absolutely non-sectarian. This evening the committees will meet and outline the part which the Commercial Club Is to tako In helping help-ing to promote the cantata tho Choral Chor-al Society is to render Monday evening eve-ning In the Tnbernaclo at 8 o'clock. The cantata Is tho "llulldlng of the Ship," the words of which were written by Henry Wordsworth Longfellow Long-fellow and tho music by Henry La-hee, La-hee, a famous Hoston musician. Tho poem will bo read and explanations given by Professor George D. Casto. Some of the principals will bo Misses Gladys Smith, Myrtle Ilatt, Hazel Larsen, and Messrs. Karl Famsworth, Calvin Fletcher, Arthur Olson, Willard Jenson, and E. W. Watson. It will be a very high class entertainment enter-tainment and worth the patronage of the public and the Club. |
