Hel)lnd the bar is to be found alcohol In many forms. Mirrors and bottles are there. The man before the bar can see in the mirrors his face and that of his chum near by. If those mirrors would reflect the future of i those two, a future as made by the contents of the bottles In view, do you think that they would stand In front I of the bar any length of time? At ' llrst It would be dllllcult to trace the motives that lead young men to go to the bar for drinks. Hut after the habit of drinking Is formed there Is ,no motive present. The youth who i goes under the force of habit to the bar Is simply a slave; poor fellow, he is mastered by a power that degrades and will ultimately ruin. To stand before the bar in a saloon is a perilous thing to do. |
