Show THANKSGIVING IS OBSERVED At Tabernacle and Churches, Schools and by Societies in Different Ways. Tho Thanksgiving service at tho tabernacle was falily well attended, the progani as published heretofore being cai ried out In Its fullness. The music was exceptionally good and the addresses timely to the occasion, many excellent thoughts being advanced. The service was greatly enjoyed by those present and the committee in chaigelstobe congratulated on the success. One of the listeners on this occasion occa-sion was prompted to write tho follow-lug follow-lug concerning the Tabernacle choir, all of which Tin: Ukuiilkjax healthy healt-hy endorses, and Is pleased to present the public The wi Iter sajs: "Tho splendid music which the new tabcinacle clioli Is furnishing has caused caus-ed much favoiablo comment. There is a richness which comes from these young voices that is truly lefieshlng. Another marked feature of the singing sing-ing Is that the voices blend together so well. Prof. Thatcher Intends to have piactices with the Darts other than at tho tegular lehcaisal This will be a great oppoitunlty for the members to learn to read well and also to Impiovo the tone quality of the voice. We consider that the membeis of tho choir have a most excellent op-poitunity op-poitunity for peisonal development in the art of singing. In addition to the fact that they aio performing a gieat mission in furnishing such excellent music in our meeting. It is ccitalnlv to be hoped that the membeis will be faithful In attending practice and that those who are favored with an Invitation to Join the choir will accept It and work with a determination to make this organiatlon second to none. The singing at the Thanksgiving service was appropriate and tendered with attistlc taste. The quintette was much appreciated, especially the solo singing of Miss Ellason and of Mi. Jauline, whose splendid tenor voice was a sui pi ise. It seems good to hear our old lime favorite, Frank Itaugh, singing with the new choir.
