Mary Cook Cowley, aged eighty-four, died at the residenco of Joseph Cowley Cow-ley Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock. The deceased was born at Elmwood, Nottinghamshire, England. She Joined tho church In tho fifties, crossed cross-ed tho plains In tho hand cart con pany of '57, lived with the families of President John Taylor and ISIshop Hunter, came to Logan in '04 and here she married Charles Cowley, her second husband. She had one son by her former husband, John Ilcrrln. She was always devoted to her religion and recognized as a good, noble woman Mrs. Cowlov was confined to her bed bu t three days before passing aw ay. Her last hours wero peaceful and she died without pain, apparently. Sho leaves one brother, John Cook, at Mlllcrcck ward.
